Homeowners across the UK appeal for help in connection with changes in legislation and taxation.
According to the latest report BDRCLandlordsPanel, which covers the first three months of 2013 showed that 78 % of homeowners in the UK have a serious need for consultation and advice on management of their property, which became especially actual in connection with recent changes in legislation.
The concern of landlords is associated first and foremost with the expectations of the deterioration in their status in the coming months. First, because tax changes, and, secondly, in connection with the recent speeches of the Queen, in which she certainly made it clear that it is necessary to impute the responsibility of landlords to check the immigration status of their tenants.
Of the total number of respondents, 54% predict that more likely they will be affected by the introduction of additional licensing, 53% believe that the biggest impact will be on them the increase in the tax on capital gains.
It is interesting to note that although many of the respondents experienced landlords with extensive experience of renting property in London and in other cities of England, Wales for a long time, but they also need informational support, advice and assistance. However, the new rules are the same for all, regardless of experience, so it is vital to constantly acquire new knowledge to understand their obligations and explore the market.
To receive professional advice and assistance landowners are encouraged to join the Association of landowners, for example, “the National Association of Landlords” – NationalLandlordsAssociation that provides a huge amount of information, support and advice for new and existing landlords to more successful business management.
There are other organisations providing advice and guidance to homeowners is ResidentialLandlordsAssociation(RLA) Association of Owners of Residential real Estate and AssociationofResidentialLettingsagents (ARLA) Association of Residential Property.
