The grandiose construction works with a total value of £78.4 million are underway in London as part of a city program to build affordable housing and the biggest project in the East of the capital.
The district named the new Lymington Fields and will offer Londoners 418 new homes in a former quarry with gravel and a former landfill. Thus, by order of the mayor of London Boris Johnson for residential construction allocated a huge plot of municipal land.
According to designers, the site includes 116 homes for affordable rent and 43 homes will be for shared ownership and 259 homes will be for private sale.

The complex will occupy 600 hectares of land with a size of 210 football fields. It is the largest residential construction project that will bring Londoners a much-needed modern affordable homes are of excellent quality. Designers and builders are encouraged by the idea to create a modern, exciting , interesting area with its community, where people will aspire to live and be proud that they are lucky to live in the area. It will create new jobs, the district will be able to provide everything for relaxation and entertainment.
The first phase of construction, which will occupy 8.7 acres of land and within which will be built 83 homes for private sale is running now. But by the summer of 2014 it is planned to open on the site of the sales office for buyers. The first phase also will include 22 homes for affordable rent and 20 homes for shared ownership. The first houses will be built at the end of this year.
The second phase of construction, consisting of 293 homes, will be launched in 2015. All homes will meet level 4 of sustainability and are designed with the latest technologies to reduce energy consumption with the fact that residents of new homes less pay the bills.
