Furnished apartments in cities in the UK provide their owners a better income from rent than Unfurnished apartments.

Approximately 8.1 per cent will have to pay for furnished apartment and 2.8% for a furnished house in comparison with an empty apartment or house the same type.

Across the UK there is a trend of rising housing prices.

For the year prices average rental prices of residential property rose by 3.7% across the UK, but this growth is primarily due to the growth in rental prices in London, where the demand for rentals exceeds supply and prices continue to rise.

In small towns and rural areas, housing can be rented with furniture or without without much increase in price.

In large cities the increase in price for the furniture can reach up to 30%, this is due to the desire of tenants to pay a good premium for the comfort and high quality accommodation.

There are a number of cities where there is a high demand for housing with furniture and it is much more expensive than Unfurnished. For example, moving the BBC to Manchester has had a significant impact on the local real estate market. Employees of the corporate sector preferred good housing in areas close to the offices of the Corporation, which could not affect the rental prices in the residential sector.

A similar situation exists in coastal cities, where residential property for rent with furniture demand among the elderly.

A minor role in the cost of rent, the presence of furniture plays in the Central districts of London, where the price of real estate itself is very expensive and the cost of furniture is a very small fraction of the cost of the property. In the rural areas is also not very important the presence of furniture.

There is dominated by large families that have a stock of your furniture and no need to rent furnished housing.

In the UK the highest average rents for residential property in the month – London – £2503 per month, and lowest in Scotland at £643 per month.
