British hunters of residential property feel even more miserable in the absence of affordable housing in the property market in the UK.
The latest official survey shows that the population growth of the United Kingdom reached 400,000 people, while the number of new housing units was only 134460 over the same period. The demand for housing greatly outstrips supply, not to mention several years of inactivity in the construction industry after the crisis.
As a result of total lack of affordable housing in the nation have formed a stereotype that the citizens of the UK are divided into two social camps – the camp of happy owners of real estate and the camp of those who do not have their own homes, and 17% the latter, in their opinion, will never be your house or apartment.
Many people blame for the current situation, the government, some of the landlords. and many people think about moving to another city in order to solve the housing problem.

The most frustrating people to the fact that they can’t afford to buy a home in the place where they were born and raised . Many do not want to lose contact with their relatives and friends. But to buy housing on their own, without the help of parents or loved ones they are not.
Those people who are willing to change their place of residence in order to own a home, basically ready to move in the range up to 26 miles from the place of their present residence. To expand the search range to 50 miles, finished 21% of respondents, and only 5 % said they will move a distance of 100 miles or more, if they will have a chance to buy their own homes in the UK.
Thus, in spite of all the efforts of the government for implementation of various schemes support low-income families ( the program help to buy) , the extremely low rate of construction lead to the fact that affordable residential property in the UK will be relevant for years to come.
