Rents for flats and houses in the UK continues to grow. The average results of 2014 the growth in rental prices has made across the country by 1.7% and reached £876 pounds per month.
However, in February 2015 there was a slight fall in prices by 0.8% from the January average of 883%. Counrywide the company has provided its analysis of the market rent of residential property England, Wales and Scotland.
The biggest increase in rents was observed, of course, in London, where rent growth was 8.4% per year.
Across the UK the greatest demand for apartments with two and three bedrooms. Accordingly, they had the highest rents in the country – an average of 4.5% and 3% respectively. Apartment with two bedrooms – the only type of property, rent which rose in price in February.
For apartments with one bedroom and four bedroom rental rates have fallen by 2.9%, and for apartments with three bedrooms – 0.4%.
But most cheaper rental property with bedrooms and more 4 – from £1345 to £1306 in February 2015, the price drop was 6.9%.
In London now we have the process of reducing the interest of investors to purchase real estate in Central London. Instead, greatly increased the demand for rental residential real estate, which, of course, affected the price of rent of elite housing. So , in February, Central London saw a record-breaking rent growth of 2.6% per month, reaching an average value of £2629 per month. Last year in greater London saw the biggest increase in rental prices of up to 8.4% and the monthly rent is £1251. In the South-East of England there was a drop in rental prices – by 8.1%.
In most regions, the General trend is a gradual and steady increase in rents, which goes against the General improvement in the economy, lower unemployment and wage growth.
