Approximately one third of the real estate agencies in the UK reported on the increase in rents in April. The vast majority of estate agents believe that the growth of rents will continue for the next five years. According to Association of Residential Property in the UK, the highest rent growth recorded in the North-West .

Overall, nine in ten real estate agents are satisfied with the results of the General election, including those that are not implemented the proposals of the labour party reform of rent. Summary of positive sentiment with 79% of agents believe that rents will continue to grow for at least another five years.

Report of the Association showed that over the past few months increased the number of homeowners “buy to let” who have sold their property. Especially notable increase of landlords in London.

For the period from March to April 2015 the number of homeowners in London has doubled.

It is obvious that the increase in sales was associated with a high probability of coming to power of the labour party.

Now elections are behind us and the victory of the conservative party needs to fulfill their campaign promises, chief among them – to build 200,000 units of affordable housing and to provide first-time buyers buying a house, 20% discount on the purchase of their home. It is hoped that now that the political battles subsided, the market supply will catch up with the demand of the UK property market will move in the right direction.
