Buying a home in England or Wales in the area of the national Park will cost £100000 more than the property in England or Wales, located outside of national parks.
British Lloyd Bank conducted another study of real estate market of great Britain on the subject: “What are the benefits of life in a national Park?”. The results showed that the area of the national Park will have to pay on average £101880 or 44%, compared with life in other parts of the country.
Most Britons willing to pay extra for life in the National Park area of Britain’s “New Forest”, where the fee reaches £258042 or 94%.
The advantage to live in a British National Park “Peak District” buyers are willing to pay 89% and for the life in the “Lake District” – 72%.
The only national Park where the average property price is even lower than the average price in other districts of England and Wales is “Snowdonia” , where the real estate is 3% lower than the national average.

Of outstanding natural beauty, ecology and prestige are the main drivers for the purchase of the pleasures of people who decided to buy a second home, to buy it in one of the national parks. The same people who was born and lives in the area of national Park, can’t always afford to buy their own homes here because of the high prices. If you measure the availability of real estate in the National Park area of wages, it is more than 10 annual salaries, which is much higher than the national average. Most affordable national Park is “Snowdonia” with an average price of £165840, allowing its residents to buy a property for 6.5 annual wages.

£57718 pounds over the last 10 years and reached £332755 pounds.
