The UK authorities intend to expedite construction planning

In the UK a competition between municipalities on the best service for the processing of applications for planning construction of new housing. Currently, the planning process due to the bureaucratic mechanism is a real irritant for both construction companies and individual developers. Painfully long waiting for the end of planning periods lead to delays in the whole process and hinder rapid construction.

The UK government intends to address this issue is to encourage municipalities to improve and accelerate service for consideration of applications.

Municipalities play a vital role in the planning process, but still, having no incentive to solve the issues of planning quickly, was the cause of delays in the construction process and disappointments everyone else involved in the process.

Now a new system that will provide the best quality and speed of consideration of applications at the expense of competition and the pricing system of services.

The UK government aims to fulfil its election promise to build 1 million houses and apartments by 2020. Meanwhile, the construction is considerably inhibited already at the planning stage because of the sluggishness of the municipalities. Revolutionary changes at this stage is needed urgently, as the most from uncoordinated scheduling suffer from small construction companies, which are extremely limited in resources and are very interested in a speedy return on investment. Painfully long wait after planning for them, sometimes turn a loss a lot of money and lead to significant losses.
