The British Parliament is in urgent need of renovation. The problem is long overdue and the main question – where to put the repair time a huge army of parliamentarians, together with staff who have settled in a historic place, is a very troubled government. Now the question solved – an international company planning, architecture and design Gensler has offered the concept of the project building for the temporary accommodation of members of the British Parliament at the time of repair. Moreover, the temporary home of the British Parliament decided to give traits of the main building. The internal architecture of the new building itself is very similar to the architecture of the Parliament Building. For finishing the interior will be the same as the color palette and style of the main building of the Parliament. But the Architects went a step further and decided to recreate the appearance of the house of Commons and the house of Lords in the same proportion. Royal Gallery and Central Hall, which play a crucial role in holding parliamentary receptions and ceremonies will also be recreated in the same style as the main building. Constructed of steel platforms the building will be covered with high-tech wooden frames with a total area of 8600 sq. m.

Firm Gensler, trying to preserve tradition, however, will be used in the construction of the new technology. The inner space decided to make a spacious and flexible, eliminating unnecessary interior details for the convenience of people working in it.

All the efforts of architects and designers will focus on how to create the best conditions for high productivity of parliamentarians – from maximum access of natural light into the room , ending further generation of oxygen.

According to the proposed concept, the implementation of the project will allow British taxpayers to save more than £1.8 billion compared to the previously proposed option and at the same time as quickly as possible to make repairs in the old building of Parliament.
