Asking prices for property throughout the UKand remain almost unchanged in January 2018, an increase over the month by only 01% in England and Wales falling by 0.8% in Scotland. In annual terms the price of property in England and Wales rose by 2.7% to the average value 304785 and 1.4% in Scotland. However, distinguished Wales – if you take away the numbers only for Wales, the increase in asking prices was 4.3%.
Asking prices for London property fell to 14-month lows – 0.9% , however, over the past month in London has been increasing – asking prices rose 0.3%
Good indicators of price growth in regions of England where prices are still the lowest in the country – in the North-West of England and Yorkshire. – 4.1% and 5.1% respectively. Strong annual GOST in the West Midlands, where prices rose 5.7% and East Midlands by 6.5%.

These regions are also marked in the time sale of the property on the market.
London, traditionally a driver of market movements, spreads the deceleration of prices in other parts of England. Most likely, in 2018 we will see a slight slowing of prices in England and Wales.
However, due to good demand, property prices will continue its growth in the Central and North-Western part of England. Thus, the year 2018 will be marked by a contrast – on the one hand, the slowdown and falling prices for residential property in the South East and London, on the other hand, rising prices in Central and North-West.
