In London, expectations of rising prices for London property fell compared to last year. Last year these expectations were 10 times higher than the national average. And this is not surprising because such a price increase, as in 2013, London has seen since the 2008 crisis. But in the regions prices are ready to reach new heights. The recovery of the property market reflects an increasing confidence across the UK economy, the forecast for the growth of which has been improved recently. Economic confidence is also backed by the assurances of the Bank of England that interest rates will not rise until at least next year.
