The UK government has announced a list of major construction companies, which will be attracted for construction of new homes in the UK for funds of £1 billion allocated to solve the housing problem.
Part of the grandiose project on stimulating residential construction industry in the UK plan to accelerate the submission of over 200,000 new homes across the country.
Allocated funds not only will go to the construction of new homes, but also on the development of infrastructure necessary for the implementation of this project.
The project should be provided to improve roads, build schools and parks. Before funding, all projects will go through a thorough legal review .
The project will continue construction on the Greenwich Peninsula in London, where it will build about 10,000 housing units , as well as the development of the district Ebsfleet, which will provide area of 3,500 new apartments and houses. The project consists of 36 major facilities throughout the UK.

The level of residential construction in the UK is now at its peak since 2007, and continues to grow. In the past year was obtained for the construction of approximately 216000 housing units.
