The confidence index for the buyers of the real estate market is an important indicator of the health of the market. UK banks Clydesdale and Yorkshire have held a regular annual survey of the market for consumer confidence.

The results showed that confidence in the property market of the United Kingdom reached a three-year high. Almost a quarter of people planning to change their current living conditions, to move, to expand your living space or significantly improve it. About 14% said they are planning to sell your home in the coming year. Many are going to radically solve their financial issues – 11% of respondents are ready to pay their mortgage, make overpayments or take out a second mortgage in the next 12 months.

Thus, there is a stable pattern, indicating that sentiment in the residential property market in the UK has improved significantly.

If in the beginning of 2013, 62% of people said that he did not intend to change their place of residence this year, in 2014, the number of such people has decreased to 58% and in 2015 – only 41% are not going to change current place of residence.

The optimism is estimated, and how people think about the rise in property prices in 2015. In London 64% of respondents believe that their property will increase in price by the end of 2015. In other parts of the UK 44% believe that their estate will rise in price in 2015, and 54% believes that it will remain the same.

In anticipation of great activity in the market, banks are developing new mortgage products, expanding the range and trying to satisfy the needs of all potential borrowers, property buyers in the UK.
