In Greenwich will be built thousands of units of affordable housing

The mayor of London Boris Johnson approved the construction of the largest buildings in London “Greenwich Peninsula”, which will bring the city more of 12,600 new apartments and will be a new milestone in the construction of housing in East London.

Construction in Greenwich is part of an ambitious plan by mayor of London Boris Johnson to release public land for residential construction. The main part of this plan is building the East end of London in a new, modern residential districts, with the result that by 2020 it is planned to build in East London more than 200,000 units of residential property.
