48% of the ads for the sale of property in the UK false

Any potential buyer, looking through put on the Internet ads, expects that the information about selling property are correct and true.

Insurance company SELECT Premier Insurance conducted a study according to which 48% of the ads for the sale of property in the UK contain inaccurate information.

The analysis showed that 36% of bedrooms in the advert for sale are too small to fall into the classification of “bedroom for a person over the age of 10 years”, and 17% of flats in England for two bedrooms available on the Internet, have insufficient dimensions to be used by two people.

 

 

 

Most false information about real estate in Liverpool, where 69% of the ads include a room that does not meet the law. “Housing Act 1985” says that people older than 10 years cannot live in a room smaller than 50 sq. ft. In Leeds the most incorrect information regarding double bedrooms. According to the same act 1985, double bedroom double bedroom may not be less than 110 square feet, and 14% placed in the list of information does not meet these requirements. One listing the room with an area of 69 square feet presented as a double bedroom.

The false real estate Agency located in Bristol – they distorted more than 66% of all posted information about products sold, or leased facilities of different sizes. After Bristol comes to Sheffield, where distorted 60% of the information, then Liverpool and Birmingham with 57% false information.

The city with the least amount of incorrect information – Edinburgh, where only 4% of the bedrooms does not meet the size requirements of the law. Pretty accurate agents in Manchester and Glasgow, and rarely distort the information.

With such a large proportion of false information in the market the UK real estate all agents are strongly advised to personally measure the size of the rooms before making an offer to purchase the object. Let the agent understand that you are familiar with housing standards and the information published in the public domain, is not true. When buyers will be more serious approach to the process of viewing homes, sellers will be more responsible when placing objects.
