The UK government announced the allocation of around £2.5 million to accelerate the construction process 155000 new housing units in England in the framework of the project “City-garden”.
Nine construction sites that are located in small towns throughout England – in the Bester, Didcot, Basingstoke, Otherperson Park in Kent, Aylesbury, Taunton, Harlow-Rylstone, North Northamptonshire and North Essex.
The project “City-garden” develops not only in cities but also in rural areas, where also already developed 14 plots “garden city”. In total, the project England get of 220,000 new homes and apartments .
The project aims not only to provide housing for British citizens. This and the creation of new jobs and the opportunity to improve local infrastructure and economy of small towns.
