British parents pay up to £44000 for the proximity of their homes to a good school

Families who want to buy a house or an apartment in England close to the best schools, have to pay a premium to the seller of almost £44000 . Education is a very important part of British life. Many young parents in the UK believe that it is important to give a good start in life to your child, giving him to a good school .

In a study conducted by online estate Agency Simple House in the region of 50 best schools in England, revealed that the average premium for proximity to good schools is £43773, while the average price of property in England in the area of good state schools is 18% more expensive than the average price of residential property in this postcode.

The largest award paid by the parents in the South of England, where the top Primary school St Luke’s in Brighton with a premium of £151121 and Elementary school Crowland in Haringey with a premium of £193816.

However, the study also discovered the fact that not every outstanding private school affects the price of real estate close.

Extreme popularity prestigious private schools has led to the fact that many of these schools are overcrowded and there is no place. Therefore, the price of real estate in England, close to schools no longer contains the additional component. But pretty much started to increase the prices of apartments and houses in England, located near public schools with quality education. Thus, private education for many has become unaffordable not only because of the high cost of the training at a prestigious private school, but because of the high cost of living that is forced to parents of children who attend private schools. Parents, at times, largely denied itself to provide your child with a high level of education, but, standing on this path, they have to bear even greater costs, trying to fit the chosen standard of living. Sometimes a good public school education is no worse than a prestigious private school and therefore many parents began to buy a house in England near the state schools that have increased the average price of property in close proximity to public schools.
