90% of landlords are seeking to make the lives of tenants more comfortable

With the growing number of tenants across the UK, increasing competition between landlords to attract the best tenants.

A study conducted by the company found that 90% of the owners of property in the UK, strive to make life more comfortable tenants and 41% said that they are willing to go the extra mile to make your tenants happier.

Of course, this attitude finds an echo in the soul of tenants and 83% said they are satisfied with their lanlords. Nearly one – third- namely 28% of landlords admitted that they do not seek to raise the rent for a long period of time if the tenant is satisfied, while 40% are willing to make repairs, if requested by the tenant.

 

In relation to rented housing tenants and homeowners showed different priorities. The landlord believes that the most important to ensure the legal purity of the house or apartment before you let go of the tenant, and tenants believe that the most important is that housing should be equipped with Wi-Fi.

In relations with the state, each of the parties tenant landlord considers that it is not sufficiently protected. Landlords believe that the laws of the United Kingdom aimed at protecting the tenant, and tenants feel that they are not sufficiently protected from unexpected risks and unnecessary expenses , including litigation with the landlord.

The main reason of anxiety of the landlords are poor tenants who cannot make it to pay the rent, fear of losing tenants and the high cost of maintenance of the premises. However, most landlords, namely, 67% said that their concern pays off, and for 12% of the owners of real estate in England the rent is the main source of income. In addition, 36% plans to make rental income their main source of income for the future, in the case of retirement.
